What Can I Expect?
From the moment you arrive you'll be greeted by people who are genuinely happy to see you. Sunday church services are designed to be enjoyed, and not endured, offering Bible-based messages that are engaging and relevant to people today. It's a casual and friendly environment where everyone is welcome, and everyone can belong.
When & Where Do You Meet?
Join us every Sunday in the heart of Christchurch at 10am for our family-friendly morning service, or City Nights at 6pm for upbeat worship with relaxed vibe.
How Long Is Church?
Durations vary between our morning service (approx. 90 minutes) and City Nights (approx. 60 minutes). We invite you to stay after the service to connect.
Car Parking?
There is ample free off-street parking available close to the church auditorium.
Can I Bring My Kids To Church?
Yes. We have a parents room and dedicated children’s programme for kids every Sunday during morning church services.

What Do I Wear?
We want you to feel at ease and wear whatever you're comfortable in. We usually dress casually.
What’s The Music Like?
We enjoy live music as part of our worship to God. Our family-friendly morning services are modern and vibrant, but not noisy, while City Nights is a bit louder and upbeat. Check out our Spotify playlist for range of songs we love to sing.

City is a Pentecostal church and member of ACTS Churches New Zealand, which has over 60 churches across the country. We are connected with hundreds of Christian organisations worldwide, and enjoy periodic guest speakers who share our beliefs and passion for Jesus.

How Can I Meet New People?
There are lots of ways to meet new people at City. You can join a Connect Group near you, check out our events for opportunities to get involved, or visit this Sunday and stay for a free hot drink and chat. We'd love to meet you.
